Major Activities & Projects

• Community Building: Set up of information services (LDAP, mail, web) and key services for 5 different neighborhoods: chat, VoIP and RFID/QR access services for 866 homes, 830 vehicles, 1795 users, covering an area of 70 acres. Also representative for my own neighborhood for the past 10 years.

• Choir music and book: Currently play guitar and am in charge of music section of a church choir, for more than 10 years now. With Lilypond, Git, and other open source tools, I’ve written and published a book with music scores, with all sources available.

• Church sound assistant and mixer: Sound person for our own choir, and in charge of major ensembles with 40+ people participating, using digital mixers for live performance, recording, and streaming.

• Localizamex: Multi-client server implementation, written in PHP, to track vehicles via GPS/GPRS Meitrack protocol.

• AutoTestMM: Client-server testing infrastructure for embedded multimedia. Written in PHP and Bash, easily fits in the init scripts of the development platform to automatically run and report the results of a set of tests.

• SysAdmin: Gentoo user and system administrator of many local and remote servers. Infrastructure set up and maintainance for LDAP, DNS, Mail (SMTP, IMAP, POP3), HTTP, WebDAV, VoIP (SIP), as well as SSL Certificate Authority (CA) and other services.

Native Spanish speaker. Certified in Italian, level of competence B2 from the CEFRL: Vantage. Studied for at least half a year the following languages: French, Arabic, Esperanto, Korean, Hebrew, German.
